Invite Tenants

The Invite Tenants feature allows landlords and property managers to onboard tenants into the Platuni ecosystem with ease. By connecting tenants to their assigned apartments within the platform, you enable them to receive invoices, submit maintenance requests, join community discussions, and access all tenant facing functionalities. This streamlined onboarding ensures both accurate resident records and smoother communication across your property operations.

1. Starting the Invitation
To begin onboarding tenants, navigate to the Apartments module and click “Invite Tenants.” This action opens the invitation form, where you specify who should receive access to the tenant dashboard.

2. Select the Tenant’s Apartment
Platuni connects each tenant to a specific unit for clear property records and automated workflow mapping. When inviting tenants:
- Open the invite form
- Choose the apartment from your existing apartment list
- Confirm the correct unit and property
This ensures the tenant is linked accurately to their home and all associated billing, maintenance, and community features.

3. Enter Tenant Email(s)
After selecting an apartment, input the tenant’s email address.This email will receive the automated invite containing instructions and a link to join Platuni.
- You can add a single tenant, or
- Invite multiple tenants at once, as long as they belong to the same apartment (e.g., roommates, co-leasers, shared units)
Each email entered will receive a separate invitation, ensuring every household member has access to the platform.

4. Sending the Invitation
Once all emails are entered:
- Click “Send Invite”
- Platuni automatically dispatches the tenant onboarding email
- Tenants receive a secure link to activate their account, create a password, and join their unit dashboard

Invitations appear as Pending until the tenant completes signup, giving you full visibility on onboarding progress.
This ensures no apartment is left without proper digital access.
