"When roommates respect your space, a house becomes a home instead of just a place."

“Moving away from home was already hard.”
Starting school meant leaving behind the comfort of home and stepping into a completely new environment.
At first, I thought the biggest challenge would be the academic workload. But I quickly realized that something else mattered just as much: where and who I was living with.
When my living situation felt uncomfortable, everything else felt harder to feel housed.
Home didn't feel like a place where I could relax or recharge. After long days of studying, I still felt tense in my own space. That started affecting my focus, my energy, and even my mental health.
It's strange how much your environment shapes your mindset.
“Eventually I moved into a place where the people around me respected each other's space.”
They understood boundaries and were considerate about things like noise, shared spaces, and routines.
That shift made a huge difference.
For the first time, the place I was living in didn't just feel like somewhere temporary, it actually felt like home.
And once that part of life felt stable, everything else became easier to manage. I could focus better, rest properly, and approach school with a clearer mind.
It reminded me that a good living environment isn't just about the apartment itself. It's about the people you share it with.
