Prepare a rent increase in Calgary
Alberta has no rent cap, so this workspace is about timing and form: whether the Act covers the unit, whether the tenancy is fixed or periodic, the 365-day gate, the tenancy-month notice, and the file. The amount is arithmetic you enter; the guide never calls it lawful or unlawful because the law doesn't. Six stages.

Stage 1 of 6
Confirm the Act covers the unit
Alberta's rent rules come from the Residential Tenancies Act. Owner-shared living space, mobile-home sites, supportive living and hotels are outside it; suites, condos and apartments are inside it.
