Collect and return a deposit
Two different jobs that share one rulebook. Pick the stage you're at: collecting at the start of a tenancy, or returning at the end. The arithmetic (interest, the 15-day clock) is separated from the judgement calls (whether a deduction is justified), because the hub can only help with the first.

Decide what you're collecting
Two deposit types, each capped at half a month's rent: a security deposit and, if pets are allowed, a pet damage deposit. Nothing else is a deposit.
