About Us
Platuni is an innovative platform designed to help people live better together. Our team is expanding as we prepare for a major go to market push across Canada and the USA. We are creating a unique presence across campuses and partner communities and planning both online and offline activities that will bring people together and create awareness.
Role Overview
The Events Coordinator will help plan, organize, and execute small events that introduce Platuni to students, organizations, and partners. This includes virtual sessions, community gatherings, and launch activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage virtual and in person events
- Coordinate logistics such as invites, signups, and follow up communication
- Recruit attendees through outreach and social media
- Capture event content such as photos, videos, and testimonials
- Track attendance and event effectiveness
Qualifications
- Excited about creating meaningful experiences
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working with teams and external stakeholders
- Creative with a problem solving mindset
